Waikuku Domain is our perfect summer setting offering not only the chance too cool off but picnic opportunities, a skate bowl, playground complete with flying fox and short walks to the beach.  A quick reminder that the shade sails for the paddling pool will be installed in early November to mitigate any potential damage from high winds or people letting off fireworks in the park around Guy Fawkes.

It is free to use and while our Aquatics staff maintain it daily, it is not lifeguarded.

We've also begun the preparations for opening the Oxford pool.

The water will be drained and fresh water circulated with chemical balancing and heating beginning in early to mid-November. The facility includes a 4-lane 25m lap pool with an easy access ramp and a smaller learners pool with a toddlers stand for smaller children.

The pool will open to the public on Saturday 25 November with the season running through until  March 2024.
