As part of the Waimakariri District Council’s maintenance programme, our contractor CORDE will be carrying out pre-reseal asphalt levelling repairs on River Road, between Ashley Street and Cones Road.

We will be replacing the kerb and channel on the western side of Stephens Street between High Street and Blackett Street.

Work is planned to trial a modified joint design on the Waimakariri Gorge Bridge.

Fords can be closed at any time for a number of reasons. Any closures will be well sign-posted and alternative routes will be available.
