Youth Development
We want our young people to be happy, vibrant and full of confidence. The Council has developed a Youth Development Strategy (pdf, 5.65 MB) which outlines how the Council and community can invest in the development of our young people, so they feel valued and encouraged to stay and make positive contributions to the continued growth of the District.
Positive Youth Development has been described as an approach that guides communities in the way they organise programmes, people and support so that young people can develop to their full potential.

North Canterbury Youth Services Network Meetings
The meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 10 am - 12 noon in the Committee Rooms at the Rangiora Service Centre, 215 High Street, Rangiora. The meeting dates for 2013 are:
